The pinewood derby was a success! We had about 25 minutes of chaos in the middle when the power went out and leaders scrabbled to find a generator to power the track timers. Of course, 3 minutes after the generator was up and running, the power came back on. We topped off the evening with themed cupcakes. It was a good time and hopefully an evening the boys will remember for a long time.
