Welcome to the Lemonade Publishing blog! This being the first post on the blog, I thought I’d take a moment and introduce Lemonade and what this is all about.
What Is Lemonade Publishing?
Lemonade Publishing is a startup publishing company that currently serves as a medium to publish the works of Tim Porter. We are small, but have plans for gargantuan growth in the future. We are talking Texas big…or maybe Africa.
Who Is Tim Porter?
I am the Art Director at Maxfield Candy Company,
the husband to my beautiful wife Jessica
and the father of three adorable kids.
I work with several freelance clients (once the kids are asleep). I also enjoy running, cooking, making music, photography and more recently writing and illustrating children’s books. Life is busy and crazy at times, but oh so good!
Why Lemonade?
I love the concept of lemonade stands. There is something that is inspiring about kids hanging out in the hot sun, trying to sell their homemade concoctions to every passerby. Lemonade Publishing is my virtual lemonade stand. This is my chance to experiment creatively with some of the things I love to do and put them up on the street corner for all to see. Best-case scenario is that I will share lots of things with lots of people. Worst-case scenario is that I’ll have a lot of fun, get a great tan and have a lot of lemonade to drink at the end of the day.
